LEAD San Diego’s Graduate
Council is chaired by Victoria Garrison, Associate Education
Director for the San Diego Zoo and a graduate of the class
of ‘99. She is charged with helping to maintain communication
among class members, encourage them to become involved and
to engage them in meaningful community activities. Class representatives
take the time to personally contact each member of their class
to encourage membership and participation, gather feedback
and let them know how much LEAD appreciates their involvement.
Due to the hard work of this industrious committee, LEAD
is experiencing record numbers of active LEAD graduates. The
Council is largely responsible for the huge success of the
2nd annual graduate member celebration last November at the
El Cortez, as well as numerous requests for class-reunion
parties.
If you are interested in serving on the Council, please contact
Wendy Welling, Director, Membership and Community Relations
for LEAD San Diego. Meetings are quarterly, from 5:30 pm .7:00
pm. at the Zoo.
