LEAD Graduate Member Celebration of 2004

On Tuesday evening, November 16, 2004, the LEAD San Diego Board of Directors and Graduate Council hosted its Second Annual Graduate Member Celebration. Attended by founding members, past board chairs and members of the Leadership Trust, an estimated 150 active LEAD graduates gathered in the twin 12th Floor Penthouses at the El Cortez to enjoy cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, networking, and a spectacular view of the city.

The Board and Council created this event as a special thank you to our ever-growing number of LEAD Graduates. The ranks of our alumni have now swelled to over 1,500 leaders–one third of whom are active in the organization. The event committee, chaired for the second year by Eva Stimson (’99), focused on honoring our members, as well as commemorating over two decades of outstanding leadership and service to the San Diego region.

Once again, we’d like to express thanks to all active LEAD graduate members–you devote your tireless talent and an extraordinary personal commitment toward something so important: strengthening the nation’s finest city and enhancing the lives of those who reside within it.
